AUTO TRACKING / SERVO MOTOR

To optimize your surveying work, the GPT-8000A can easily track a moving prism with auto tracking speed of 12° / sec (76 km/h at 100m) and high speed DC servo motors enable the GPT-8000A series to rotate maximum speed at 50° / sec.

APPLICATION

Application with Dam (monitoring), Crane (warning), Bridge / Tunnel (unmanned survey) and Shield Machine (positioning).

AUTO COLLIMATION

Due to the horizontal and vertical searching ability of GPT-8000A, there is no need for aiming at the prism. On top of this, the instrument can be remotely directed to a search area to optimize its operating time.

REFLECTORLESS

Reflectorless Total Stations are highly effective when measuring to points under dangerous condition, or difficult condition to place prisms directly.

LONG RANGE OF 120M IN NON-PRISM MODE & 7000M WITH SINGLE PRISM

Topcon 's unique pulse laser technology has made it possible for GPT-8000A series to measure a long range of 120m without the use of prisms (target : white wall), and 7,000m with a single prism.

NEW JOG / SHUTTLE MECHANISM

A new jog / shuttle mechanism replaces clamp / tangent screw for high speed rotation and accurate target sighting.

2MB CAPACITY FOR APPLICATION PROGRAMS

2MB data memory is provided as standard for GPT-8000A series. Coupled with the use of PCMCIA / ATA flash card, it offers almost limitless memory storage capacity for your survey jobs. Also capacity of 2MB is provided for various larger application programs.

AUTO ROTATION FUNCTION

By setting the angle, you can rotate the GPT-8000A to desired angle automatically.
