THE SAFEST CLASS 1 LASER

TOPCON'S unique pulse laser technology with small optical system has made it 

possible for GPT-3000 series to measure a long range of 250m in reflector-less mode 

with Laser Safety Class 1. You can measure safely even in city with heavy traffic when 

using GPT-3000. (Visible Laser Pointer : Laser Class 2)

REFLECTOR-LESS FUNCTION WITH LONG RANGE

Reflector-less Total Stations are highly effective when measuring to points where it is 

dangerous condition, or difficult condition, to place prism directly, and when job 

efficiency is the first priority. This feature provides ultimate flexibility in many field 

applications such as city elevation Work, Forestry Survey, Quarries Survey, Mining, 

Accident Investigation, and so on.

DUAL OPTICAL SYSTEM 

GPT-3000 uses a dual optical system. One is a narrow measuring beam for non-prism 

functions. The other is a broader measurement beam for prism mode. This beam is 

stable over long distances providing accurate measurement even in conditions of heat 

shimmer.

COMPARISON OF BEAM SPOTS AT 50M AWAY

Different systems of non-prism measurement use different beam characteristics. 

Topcon GPT-3000 uses an invisible beam for measurement with a very stable 

sharpness. This ensures the point you are pointing at is the point you are measuring.

SIMPLE OPERATION FOR DUAL MEASUREMENT TYPES

Depending upon the field application you can change from non-prism to prism 

measurement mode easily with a simple, one key touch operation. 

MORE PRECISE MEASURING

GPT-3000 can measure a building beyond a chain-link fence or corners of a building 

with accuracy. Because GPT-3000 with Pulse Laser (Time-of-Flight) Measurement 

can separate signals from different points. GPT-3000 can recognize the target 

correctly.

WHY PULSE LASER?

When we collimate to point A, the pulse laser will output to point A and Point B at same 

time.

LASER POINTER ON/OFF

GPT-3000 uses both Pulse laser Diode for distance measurement and Visible Laser 

for laser pointer. This separation allows a class 1 invisible laser to be used for 

measurement. The visible laser pointer is a class 2 laser which can easily be switched 

off if required.

DATA COLLECTOR FC-1000 (OPTION) WITH TOPSURV

As an external data collector to use with GPT-3000. Software offers extended software 

functions and data entry possibility. 

POINT GUIDE SYSTEM

TOPCON'S Point Guide function is standard for GPT-3000 series. Get on line quickly 

and easily with this future. Two (2) LED lights, one flashing and one constant, help to 

identify the correct alignment for setting out.
