The benefits of the GTS-310 are longer battery life, 4 line LCD display, compact, light weight, on-board data collection software and a water resistant design. Our GTS-310 Total Station is another Topcon innovation for the next Millennium.  

A LARGE FOUR LINE LCD DISPLAY WITH FOUR FUNCTION KEYS

A large easy-to-see 4 line LCD Display with 4 soft keys, allows the user to view the necessary information at a glance and provides easy key operation. Full alpha-numeric input is also possible.  

DATA COMMUNICATION POWER / PORT

Connectors for RS-232C and external power (optional) are ideally located at the fixed base section. This alleviates  the potential of the cable wrapping around the instrument.

INTERNAL MEMORY FOR DATA STORAGE

The GTS-310 series has the internal memory to store up to 3,000 points for data collection, or up to 5,000 points for layout work. Data transfer to a PC is possible with the RS-232C interface cable.

SUPER-LONG LIFE BATTERY : 8 HOURS !

The improved longer life battery allows 8 hours continuous measurement in the angle/distance mode (approx. 7,000 points), and can last 30 hours on the job for measuring angles only. This super-long life battery has made it unnecessary to bring a spare battery on the job site. One handle battery BT-24QW (Water resistant type) will be sufficient for a full day's surveying work.

WATER RESISTANT DESIGN : IPX4 (PROTECTED FROM NORMAL RAINFALL)

The GTS-310 series meets the " IPX4 " water resistance performance based on IEC529 International Standards, which makes it the most reliable and durable Total Station in its class. Degree of protection for the GTS-310 series is equivalent to IPX4, which is defined as "Water splashed against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect."

FASTER DISTANCE MEASURING TIME : EVERY 2.0 SECONDS !

In the Repeat measurement mode, the distance data is updated at an unprecedented 2.0 second rate ! (in the tracking mode: 0.3 seconds) This shorter distance measurement time will allow you to increase efficiency in the field.
