The stimulus target is projected from directly behind the hemispherical screen. A sealed screen shuts out dust and other foreign matter to ensure a high level of test precision.

WINDOWS^® BASED OPERATION

All patient data input and testing procedures are performed using standard, easy-to-understand Windows^® operations. A built-in hard disk provides storage of data for up to 500,000 patients. The system can be easily upgraded and expanded in accordance with your changing needs.

ORIGINAL REAR PROJECTION SYSTEM

The rear projection system of the new SBP-3000 uses a white LED that moves directly behind the projection point for uniform distance and angle measurement at any location on the screen's hemispherical surface. The result is less distortion of the stimulus than previous models and improved examination precision.

STANDARDIZED STRATEGY AND PATTERN

Everything from background luminance to stimulus size, patterns, and strategy are all designed to be fully compatible with industry standards. This means existing data remains valid for comparison with data produced with the SBP-3000.

3-D DATA DISPLAY

This 3-D display feature is a valueble tool for explaining symptoms to patients and families. This feature also comes in handy when you are providing information to the patient about the type of examination you are about to perform.

FAST INITIALIZATION

The SBP-3000 takes only about 40 seconds to initialize after the power is turned on; examinations can be performed almost immediately.

AGE-RELATED NORMAL DATABASE INCLUDE AS STANDARD

Patient name and age can be specified when the physician starts the examination. After the examination is complete, patient data can be displayed graphically along with standards for the same age group, which are produced from the database.
