Touch Series Five gets it's name from the easy-to-use Touch Control Panel^TM (TCP) and indicate screens that serve as the operator's system interface. Even where vision is obstructed, indicate screens provide a digital view of the bucket position relative to desired grade. Because it allows accurate excavation and grade checking from the cab, Touch Series Five speeds up production while improving jobsite safety.

Because you don't want to waste valuable time and expensive materials in rework, the versatile Touch Series Five TCP offers four operation modes for maximum excavation accuracy under any condition:

Slope mode lets you enter any desired grade, form 0% to 100%, into the TCP for fast automatic control of even the most difficult sloped cuts.

Use fixed depth mode on your next basement or footing job for precision excavation to the desired depth from an established surface reference (such as a hub).

You can even use Touch Series Five with a laser elevation reference when the TCP is in laser mode. The constant laser reference eliminates the need to keep the grade checker in the trench, increasing safety when laying sewer and drainage pipe.

Perhaps the most appreciated operating mode is "Blind" mode. Whether working on land or in water, if you can't see the bucket, the TCP indicate screen will provide a moving image of the bucket's position so you always know when you're at final grade.
