OMNI-II

The Omni II DU offers you flexibility and convenience. Doctors, like yourself, asked us to provide a knee hole for accessibility to a writing area in the examination suite while retaining the qualities of the original Omni II System. We have designed that capability into the new Omni II DU. The desk unit, at the center of this system, is conveniently adjacent to the patient's chair. The trial lens drawer is placed directly below the electronics panel. Efficiency, practicality, modularity and economy are all built in with the Omni II DU System.

TWO-POLE INSTRUMENT DELIVERY SYSTEM

Featuring two-pole format offering maximum stability and separation of instruments, with an overhead lamp, a slit lamp arm and a refractor arm. One single touch of the power switch automatically activates the slit lamp.

INDIRECT OPHTHALMOSCOPE CONTROL WITH HANGER

This feature is integrated into the instrument well recharging assembly. When the indirect is lifted off the hanger the light automatically activates. If you choose the Autoswitch electronics, this control will also automatically change the room lights to either dim or off mode.

MANUAL ELECTRONICS PANEL

The manual switches are used to control room and accessory lighting and chair height.

AUTOSWITCH ELECTRONICS

The exclusive Autoswitch electronically programs complete coordination of instrument selection with both room and fixation lighting. The Autoswitch Microtouch Control Panel permits programming of instruments and lighting in any of a number of sequences, and a sequential manual override on the panel gives the operator complete control of room lighting. Autoswitch saves examination time and adds that final automated touch that tells patients they're in an office that uses the very latest technology.

KERATOMETER ARMS

Choice of fixed position or counter-balanced style. Both are attached to the second pole of the Omni two-pole system, locked into position by a single lever and will support either a keratometer or opthalmometer. The counter-balanced arm provides the added feature of full suspension for multi-directional movements. Fixed position, Cat. #0919. Counter-balanced, Cat. #0901.

OVERHEAD CABINET

Provides storage for medications and reference materials plus work surface task lighting, Cat. #0275.

WALL PANEL

Integrated fixation lights and polarized screen feature four-way positioning to ensure accurate screen illumination. Includes four fixation lights when ordered with Autoswitch electronics, Cat. #0930; two fixation lights when ordered with Manual electronics, Cat. #0931. Converging fixation option available for both, Cat. #0940.

STORAGE CABINET

This four-drawer cabinet provides storage space for supplies and surgical instruments. Available as fixed position or as mobile cabinet with casters. Designed to match either the Omni II or Omni II DU desk styles. Fixed position style : Omni II, Cat.  #0252; Omni II DU, Cat. #0262. Optional mobile kit includes casters and finished back, Cat. #0927.

SINK CABINET

Matching sink and cabinet come with a single lever faucet, strainer and soap dispenser. Drawer pulls designed to match either the Omni II or II DU desk styles. Available as a self-contained sink equipped with two removable tanks and self-priming pump so that no plumbing is required. Standard sink: Omni II, Cat. #0250; Omni II DU, Cat. #0260.
